This course is for people who install or are going to install split air conditioning systems. It covers basic operating theory of the units along with the safety aspects of working with refrigerants.
Attendees will get the opportunity to see the equipment which is required to install the unit in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements.

Essential for railway vehicle technicians with little or no air conditioning background, or for those needing to refresh their knowledge/skills.
Covers:
- Railway vehicle air conditioning systems theory
- Practical fault finding
- Refrigerant handling
- Can include C&G 2078 for those requiring accreditation
- Can also include C&G 6048 (automotive air conditioning)
Air Conditioning Electrical Controls for Railway Vehicles
Duration: 2 Days depending on experience
