Description

This course is designed for Technicians who have responsibilities for performing maintenance activates on Train borne door equipment such as interior, cab and saloon doors systems which may also include fault finding processes.

Objectives

On completion of this course, successful delegates will be able to:

• Locate and operate interior, cab and saloon doors

• Locate all major components and isolation points

• Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between door and brake loop

• Recognise the measurements required for the doors to work correctly

• Fault find with the use of circuit diagrams, the TMS and diagnostic software

• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks to the required standard in accordance with the maintenance manual and in compliance with the various depot safety precautions

• Appropriate personal protective equipment

• Maintenance tool kit
