BENEFITS
Candidates who wish to comply with the new F-Gas Regulations and be able to handle refrigerants safely and competently will find this course invaluable.
The environmental and legal implications regarding Safe Refrigerant Handling makes this course essential for persons directly or indirectly connected with refrigerants. (Designers, managers, installers, service and maintenance engineers, non-refrigeration engineers wishing to cross train, etc).
By undertaking the course, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the legal and environmental requirements of the regulations and will be able to demonstrate the application of practical skills to successfully fabricate and examine pipework, undertake pressure testing, evacuation and record completion, refrigerant charging, leak checking and record keeping, and recovery of refrigerants and oil and preparation for disposal.
Successful candidates will be qualified to undertake leak checking, recovery, installation, service and maintenance of equipment.
PLEASE NOTE: Because of the time limit on this course there is only enough time to do a quick run through of the course contents. If you require more in-depth knowledge you will need to look at our 4 day course.
