The COPE program aims at standardizing product development processes in both divisions globally.

The new joint process incorporates project management mechanisms that guarantee identical procedures across all companies. Interfaces to all the disciplines involved in a development project are integrated in a clear, transparent fashion. Activities encompass the areas of Project Engineering in Sales & Systems, Product Engineering in Centers of Competence (CoCs) and Business Segments as well as employee qualification for Systems Engineering. This allows development teams to make important contributions toward further increasing customer satisfaction through defect-free products.
