Introduction to Programmable logic Controller (plc).
Details
This is a 2 day training course, for 4 candidates. Candidates will receive a Techtrain Associates Ltd attendance certificate upon completion of the course.
The course can be held at the Techtrain Centre in Doncaster, or, providing the facilities are available on-site at your premises.
Benefits
This course is an introduction to PLCs, it is suitable for personnel who already have a background in industrial electrical installation or maintenance.
The course has approximately 80% practical hands on content, spread over the two day event.
The course is based around the Mitsubishi FX series PLC, but is a good general introduction to a broad range of PLCs.
Each course attendee will have access to a laptop on the course with Melsec GX Developer software. Live working PLC with hardware simulators will be available to up and download programs. There will be an opportunity to hardwire in an air conditioning system to try out programs.

Pre-course material to cover the subject is available by emailing enquiries@techtrain.co.uk.
The course material requires the subject related questions to be completed and submitted by email to the course tutor prior to attendance.
It is essential, before attending this course, that attendees are familiar with the terminology, such as hexadecimal and binary numbering systems. It is also a requirement that the attendees can read ladder diagrams. This information is contained in the pre-course material
