Techtrain was established in February 1997 by Martin Hoare who found a niche in the market for specialist consultancy services in the railway industry and training to the wider refrigeration & air conditioning industries.
In December 1997 Techtrain became a partnership when Janet Stevenson joined and the company continued to expand finally being incorporated in 1999.
Services Provided
Techtrain has two discrete trading activities:
Training in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Electrical industries & Railway Vehicle Air Conditioning servicing and spares.
Both of these activities are covered nationwide.
The company has a team of highly qualified engineers working on the Railway Rolling Stock HVAC service and maintenance contracts.
Techtrain also has a Training Centre providing a wide range of specialist courses for the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Electrical industries. As well as the established Training Centre, courses are also delivered on site for companies and can be designed to fit a specific purpose.
